Gathering the Generals Conference is a non-denominational event sponsored by a variety of local churches and prayer ministries. Sponsoring ministries are as follows: Awaken SD, James River Church (Huron, SD), Huron First Assembly of God, SD Apostolic Prayer Network, Church at the Gate (Sioux Falls), GATE House of Prayer (Sioux Falls), and Underground House of Prayer (Sioux Falls)
A full-time missionary, Matt Lockett serves as Executive Director of Justice House of Prayer DC and Bound4LIFE International. He and his wife Kim live in the Washington, DC area with their four children.
In 2005, Matt and his family moved to Washington, DC to join with Lou Engle to help establish JHOP DC on Capitol Hill. Through the mobilization of Bound4LIFE, Matt has engaged hundreds of thousands of Christians to become “prayer activists” for the ending of abortion.
Matt’s passion is for Christian community, corporate prayer, and to help father a young consecrated generation who want to impact the world. Making himself a student of history, justice issues and revival, Matt travels and speaks with a focus on shaping culture through contending prayer.
